Attended Auburn University on an Air Force ROTC Engineering Scholarship 1979-1980.
Memphis State University (now University of Memphis) 1985-1987, B.B.A. cum laude.
Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, Memphis State University 1987-1990.
Law School honors include selection for the Memphis State University Law Review 1989-1990, Scholarship Recipient 1989-1990, American Jurisprudence Award in Family Law 1990, top 1/3rd of graduating class.
